Well since there are no posts in this topic I figured I'd be the first. I competed my Choc last spring for the first time in Dock Dogs. It was a lot of fun and easy going. Tikka did really well, but we didn't attempt the Extreme Vertical. I think I'm going to enter her again this year and I have a new choc that joined us this winter...hopefully she'll like it. Anyone else compete in this?

No I don't, but I really WANT TOO!!! I just need to find a pond with a dock to practice on. Do you have a place to practice? My labs are awesome jumpers and I know they would be good at it. How did you get started in it? How do you train for it? Would love to see pics!!!!!

Yes, I have a cabin on a lake. That's where I first got Tikka to jump off docks. She's fearless...she likes to jump off docks. I would love to post some pictures, but the website fails to upload them. I'll keep trying.

I actually am explaining to her what to do. I had to show her where the decoy was. It's a lot of fun and she enjoyed it as well.
