I know what you are going through, having lost 2 rescue Goldens, and 2 black Labs in 2 years. it has been 4 years now, and the pain is still there. I try to remember the good times, the special times, the quiet times I had with each of them. What will help immensely is to sit down, and write about it, now when the hurt is the worst, record the memories, before they fade. Devote your time to the one you have left, and help him with his grief as well. In time smiles will come back, I promise.

she was 30 months 2.5 years being here on this forum has helped today thank you for all your support ,i am looking presently for a new companion for the male sounds as if we will meet the breeder next weekend and if things go well we will have a knew familly member in the fall

We were starting to look for another furkid about a year after losing Star and Java was brought into the shelter; some say Star had a paw in us rescuing Java |
