we had 2 litter mates about 30 months old and we lost the female yesterday in atragic accident at the boat launch the male spent all night looking for his best buddy and is not eatting we are very concerned as he has never been with out her since we picked them up at 8 weeks old i could use some advice thanks

I am so very sorry. They will grieve, Joe did when we lost Star. We spent extra time with him, walks, tried to keep him busy. It's been 2 years since we lost Star (the dog in my avatar), we adopted Java just over a year ago, but if I say "Star", Joe will look around.
