Every month we'll feature one reader's Lab: their photo, their name, and a bit of their story, with credit to the person who sent it.

We've just opened submissions, so there's no winner to show yet, and we won't fill this page with made-up dogs. Send us your Lab and yours could be the first.
How it works
- Send a photo with your Lab's name, age, color and a line or two about them.
- We pick one Lab each month. Chocolate, black, yellow and Lab mixes are all welcome. We look for a great photo and a good story, not a show dog.
- We email you first. Nothing goes live until we've confirmed with you, and we'll credit you by name.
Seasonal galleries
Not every great photo fits a monthly spot, so we'll also build seasonal galleries from reader photos: Halloween costumes, snow days, first swims and puppy-to-grown-up pairs. Dressing your Lab up this month? Read our guide to keeping Halloween candy away from dogs before the treats come out.
The fine print
- Only send photos you took or have the rights to.
- We may crop or resize photos to fit the page, but we won't edit how your dog looks.
- Want a photo taken down later? Tell us and we'll remove it.
